BECOME A MEMBER In order to become a member Of Swansboro EMS/Rescue Squad you must in first qualified under the following guidelines:
A. Be a NC certified EMT-B or higher or a NC certified Medical Responder or be a NC certified Rescue Technician (RT/ERT). B. If you do not want to be an EMT, you can be trained in Rescue only. C. You must be willing be meet the minimum state training requirements, including the the hours for EMT re-cert. D. Must be at least 18 years of age to join. E. Finish a 6 month probation period. F. Posses a valid NC driver's license or equivalent if in the military. G. Abide by Swansboro EMS/Rescue's constitution, By-Laws and Standard Operating Procedures.
If you meet these requirement and are interested in becoming a member please feel free to print and fill out the APPLICATION FOR MEMBERSHIP. A squad officer will contact you and set up an interview upon us receiving it completed. |
